Good morning everyone and Happy Monday!
Lately, much to my dismay, I’m beginning to struggle with reading menu’s… and labels… and anything in tiny print. While I can still muddle through, I recognize that very soon I will need to use reading glasses. Yet I feel victorious, because I will be 50 in 5 months and it’s only beginning to happen now, while most of my peers started using reading glasses about a decade ago. Good genes? Maybe. But I reckon this bit of visual good fortune comes down to whole foods and antioxidants.
When eating for optimal health, the main components of your diet need to be foods rich in concentrated nutrients and when it comes to eye health this is absolutely important. Whether you struggle with or are predisposed to cataracts, macular degeneration or general eyesight issues, you want to make sure you are eating foods that have a high concentration of free-radical fighting nutrients specifically Lutein and Zeaxanthin.
In today’s video I will share with you foods that you should be including in your diet in order to protect and preserve your very precious gift of sight. In addition, I’ll address the very best ways to include these foods in your diet for optimal absorption and benefit.
As always, I’d love to hear from you! What foods do you make sure to include in your diet to protect your eyesight and why. AND have you noticed a particular benefit from doing so?
Thanks as always for tuning in. I hope you have a wonderful Monday!
