I’m going to incorporate flax. I eat salmon regularly (though not necessarily 3x weekly). I use dark leafy greens almost every week, and especially love to make green juice with lots of kale, chard and spinach in it. I find I feel a lot better when eating lots of leafy greens – especially kale.

How many yolks a week do you recommend? I usually just use the egg whites because I have high cholesterol. Also, even though you suggest Flax seed oil, I must confess I have never tried it. Does it taste well when it is used for seasoning salads?
I found your video very informative and the good news is that I like practically everything in it!
    Keep up the good work,

Hi Dad~ You can safely have an egg a day. The egg myth with cholesterol has been debunked, and it is now presumed to be safe, besides which, you are on a cholesterol lowering medication, so no worries. As for flax, you can not fry it, but you can certainly use it as a salad dressing. I’ll make one for you next time I’m there 🙂

    Hi Barbara,

Great information – I look forward to news from you every Monday 🙂

Is there another fish, besides salmon that would be as beneficial? It is difficult to get wild (not farmed) salmon where I live.

I love when you reuse foods from other videos. Kale, salmon, almonds, and cashews are already part of my regular diet thanks to previous Mondays. Just need to add some flax and Chocolate.

Hey Mike! Good to hear you are enjoying all those amazing foods! Flax is easy to include with salad dressings and you might want to make healthy chocolate with your kids. I have a recipe for it on the site.

Hope things are going well for you!

    Hi Barb,
    1. Should flaxseeds be ground, whole or it doesn’t matter?
    2. Am getting sloppy about what I’m eating and how much. However, I’ve gone to following your good advice from my consultations with you and will post how I’m doing.

      Hi Marlene!

Flax should be ground up or in liquid form. The whole seeds do not release Omega-3’s the way the crushed or liquid forms do.

As for the rest, just go back to the basics we discussed and you’ll be back on top of things in no time. If you are finding it difficult, then you might want to consider coming in for a refresher 🙂

      Hope you are well!
